My work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant includes researching the effect of the First World War on the tourist trade in the UK, examining and cataloging data derived from public documents such as newspapers, digitizing government compensation report information, and being responsible for the creation and maintenance of the Hotels in History website and its social media presence. My own research area of interest includes the Great War, Social Darwinism, and the modern world with a focus on the Far East.
