I worked as an undergraduate researcher developing the preliminary stages of the project through a survey of historical newspapers documenting the destruction of hotels during the 1916 Rising in Ireland, the Anglo-Irish War, the Irish Civil War and the First World War.  My MA research has focused on postwar British politics, the far right, and the European debate in the 1970s.
